He was predeceased by: his mother Gertrude Gwendolyn Jamieson; his adoptive parents, Chester Hext and Marion Hext; his wife Preceding; his son Douglas; his granddaughter Megan; and his siblings, Robert, Teddy, Dorothy and Betty.
He is survived by: his uncle Ted; his aunt Emma Jamieson; his former wife Carol Ann C. Regner; his daughter-in-law Sharon; and his sons, Robert (Laurie) of Rhinelander, Dennis (Karen) of Atlantic Mine, MI and James (Lori) of Rhinelander. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
