She was predeceased by: her father Ernest Fondow; her husband Donald Emmer; her grandson James; her great grandchild Dakota; her son-in-law Pete Levknecht; and her siblings, Phyllis Morrow and Bob Fondow.
She is survived by: her mother Kathryn Fondow (Behrendt); her children, Cathy Lashua (John), Donna Levknecht, Helen Wrasman (Jim), Karen Marquardt (Al), Lee Emmer (Sue), Tom Emmer and Randy Emmer (Vicky); and her sister Jean St. Aubin. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren.
After her kids were grown she volunteered in Rhinelander with RSVP, the Logging Museum and with the St. Mary's Hospital Auxillary.
