He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Gauthier and Frances Gauthier (Bergeon); and his siblings, Margaret, Agnes, Evelyn, Ruben, Harold and Lloyd.

He is survived by: his wife Lexine Jolin; his children, Denise, Karen Gauthier, Phillip and Bruce Gauthier; his grandchildren, Lucas Tucci (Rachel), Alyson Jarvis (Aidan), Ben, Michelle and Nicole Gauthier; his great grandchild Dylan Tucci; and his pet Ruby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
