She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Piasecki and Mary Piasecki (Szymanski); her son David Nitzel; her granddaughter Angela Felbab; and her siblings, Agnes Stefoneck (Archie), Pearl Nitzel (Ted), Julia Steingreber (Paul), Dorothy Pollack (Martin), Anton Piasecki (Josephine) and William "Pete" Piasecki.
She is survived by: her husband Ruben Nitzel; her sons, Dennis R. Nitzel Sr. (Emeline) of Rhinelander and Mark A. Nitzel (Teresa) of Sugar Camp; her daughter-in-law Christine Nitzel of Sugar Camp; her grandsons, Dennis Nitzel Jr., Matthew Nitzel (Traci), Jake Nitzel, Ruben D. Nitzel and Matt Radtke; and her great grandchildren, Timmy Felbab, Tristan Nitzel and Carly Nitzel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
