He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Birginal and Justina Birginal (Goeken); his wife Betty Cantrall; his son Craig; his granddaughter Amanda; his great grandchild Austin; and his sister June.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy McCauley (Randy) and Curt (Lorissa); and his grandchildren, Chris (Daphne), Alicia, Adam McCauley, Megan, Jesse Birginal, Brianna and Brandon Birginal. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, other family and many friends.
