She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Schoone and Cecelia Schoone (Zuiker); her husband Erv; her parents-in-law, Alphonse and Eleanor Van Strydonk; her son-in-law Mike Swan; and her siblings, Raymond Schoone, Peter Schoone, Whil Amelse and Annette Daigle-Stewart.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Smith (Bob), Jo Lemmens (Larry), Kathy Voermans (Mark), Jim Van Strydonk (Carol), Mark Van Strydonk, Larry Van Strydonk (Linda), Alan Van Strydonk (Stephanie) and Nancy Swan; her siblings, Mary Van Ryen (Jack), Cecelia Rudolph (Ted), Corinne Swan, Jerome Schoone, Jake Schoone (Jackie) and Laurence Schoone (Ruby); her sister-in-law Delores DuPlayee; and her grandchildren, Kyle, Sadie, Valerie, Derek, Nathan, Heidi, Mitch, Cole, Beau, Erin, Jordyn, Nicholas, Troy, Sarah and Craig. She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren.
