He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Urquhart and June Urquhart (Barber); and his brother Terry. He is survived by: his children, Christy Pieper (Matthew), Jesse Urquhart (Caitlin) and Robin Urquhart (Julie); his grandchildren, Aria, Isaac, Raelynn, Elliot, Shaun and Donovan; his sisters, Joni Hintz (David) and Kelly Thilmany (Kelly Thiel); and his sister-in-law Patti Urquhart. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
