It is with sadness that the passing of Joan Nancy Martinson of Rhinelander, Wisconsin is shared. Joan, born on February 25, 1936, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvan Ulstad and Molly Ulstad (Adensen); her husband Richard "Dick" Martinson; and her sister MaryJane. She is survived by: her friend Pat Beaufeaux; her sons, Richard "Rick" (Sherry) of Brussels, WI, Rodney of Ashwaubenon and Ronald "Ron" (Michelle) of Rhinelander; her grandchildren, Kelsey McGee (Matt), Kyle Martinson (Jaclyn), Jared Martinson and Haylee Martinson; and her great grandchildren, Declan, Riley, Connor, Crew and Brayah.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (125 E King St, Rhinelander, WI 54501). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at the Russ Funeral Home (24 E Davenport St, Rhinelander, WI 54501).
