She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Schmidt and Marion Schmidt; her brother Richard; her son Scott; and her great grandchild Lily.
She is survived by: her husband Charles; her children, Linda Wolfe (James) and Eric (Lisa); her daughter-in-law Jan Whitburn; her grandchildren, Jeremy Wolfe (Keri), Nathan Wolfe (Katie), Megan Hoff (Burgess), Kaitlin Brown (Logan), Amy Whitburn (Alex Platt-Koch), Thomas Whitburn (Rose Beauchamp), Clinton Olson (Haley) and Luke Olson; her great grandchildren, Bastien, Ryley, Evelyn, Samuel, Julia, Ellie, Aria, Brogan, Ellis, Eliza and Jane; and her sisters, Sandra Graham and Kathe Whaley.
In lieu of flowers memorials will be established in Joan's name, and any gifts may be directed to her family.
