Joel Halminiak Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joel Halminiak of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 14, 2023 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Halminiak (Jim); and his grandparents, Helen "Grandma Jane", Joseph "Grandpa Joe" Halminiak, Alveda "Grandma Pete" Brunette and Wayne Brunette.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Halminiak (Brunette); his wife Brenda; his siblings, Jay Halminiak and Jessica Denis (Steve); his nephews, William and Aiden; his parents-in-law, Frank and Linda Szitta; and his sister-in-law Christy Szitta.
They even made the most of "The Very Bad Year" (2020 – cancer diagnosis right before covid lockdowns) by taking short trips and spending a long weekend in Marquette for their 25th wedding anniversary.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Joel's name and any gifts may be directed to his family.
