With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John James Ginzl of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Joseph, Sr. Ginzl and Mary Ginzl; his grandmother Mary Kettner; his brother Edward; his children, Edward, Kenneth and Elaine; his brother Wesley; his nieces and nephews, Richard, Thomas and Harry; his sisters, Alice and Wilma (Forrest); Joseph.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Rhinelander High School (665 Coolidge Ave, Rhinelander, WI 54501). The military honors was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 at the Forest Home Cemetery (650 Washington St, Rhinelander, WI 54501).
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to go to the Hodag Schools Foundation, 665 Coolidge Avenue, Rhinelander, WI 54501.
