He is survived by: his wife Shelly Steinhardt; his children, Katlynn Nelson (Michael Meister), Jacob Nelson (Shannon) and Tyler Nelson (Cindy); his grandchildren, Henry, Ava, Nora and Lyla Nelson; his siblings, Lisa Beckley (Dave Sanderson), Steve Nelson (Sarah) and Jake Nelson (Debbie); his mother-in-law Barb Steinhardt; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Nelson and Mark Steinhardt (Marjean Shoeder); and his pets, Molly, Brio, Beatrice, Sherman, Remi and Randy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
