He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Tennessen and Edna Tennessen (Grasser); and his sisters, Lois Herr, Kathleen Kreger and Mary Kreger.

He is survived by: his brother Kenneth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
