She was predeceased by: her mother Iva Flatla; her husband Nelson; and her siblings, Helen Calhoun and Harold Flatla. She is survived by: her children, Mary French, Ellen Christiansen (Edward), William Miles (Colette) and Randy Miles; and her grandchildren, Andrew French, Shannon Bateman, Christopher Miles, Thomas Miles, Elizabeth Miles, Rick Miles and Becky Toschener. She is also survived by her great grandchildren.
