With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Roger Freund of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 26, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Michael Roger departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Michael Roger. Though Michael Roger may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his mother Jean Freund. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Freund (Elizabeth) and Nicholas Freund; his grandchildren, Dylan, Millee, Aria, Carter and Caleb; his siblings, Barbara Dickison (Ronald "Buzz") and Gary Freund; Roger Freund (Mary Jo). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
