She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Fred Scott and Hazel Grace Horr Scott; her grandparents, Merton, Goldie Scott, Riley and Florence Horr; her uncle Donald Hord; her sister Sheila Ann Hanson; her brother-in-law Everette Hanson (Donald Bacher); and her son Mitchell Allen.
She is survived by: her former husband Norman Deede; her son Scott Norman; her grandsons, EJ and Christian; her pets, Gretchen, Alex, Stretch, Columbo and Charlie; her niece Julie Hanson Van Cleve; her friend Linda Louze; her sons, Patrick (Richard Louze) and Erich (Carley Pavelka Bacher); her brother Riley Fred Scott (Dianne Bohnne); her grandchildren, Jessica Foesch, Jason Bacher, Adam Bacher and Erich John Jr. (EJ); her great grandchild Henry James Foesch; and her sibling's children, Cindy, Lisa, Michelle, Rebecca, John, Todd and Brian.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shuda Funeral Chapel (3200 Stanley St, Stevens Point, WI 54481). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Rita's name to the Marathon County Humane Society.
