He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bumps" Johnson and June Johnson (Stauffer); and his brothers, Robert, Raymond and Randy.
He is survived by: his wife Terri (Osterman); his children, Mollie Burkhardt, Suzanne Johnson (Josh), Peter Johnson (Jill) and Adam Johnson (Amy); his grandchildren, Miles, Madelyn, Abigale, Connor and Aleece; his brother Richard Johnson (Sandy); his sister-in-law Amy Johnson; Barb Fus (Dave), Patty Cahak, Jane Bayerl, Kathy Mesun (Norm), Steve Osterman (Peggy), Susie Johnson (Moose), Tom Osterman (Brenda) and Laurie Fischer (Dean). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pines Event Center (5840 Forest Ln, Rhinelander, WI 54501). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
