He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Hoppe and Clara Hoppe (Peterson); his grandson Brad William Hoppe; and his siblings, Carol and John.

He is survived by: his wife Jane Helgert of Milwaukee; his sons, Kurt Hoppe (Deborah) and Mike Hoppe (Kelly); his grandchildren, Ron Hoppe, Kaitlyn Coniglio (Chris) and Samantha Stieber (Ted); and his great grandchild Camden Coniglio.

In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Bill's name and any contributions may be directed to his family.
