He is survived by: his daughters, Jeri Lou Engebretson (Ken) and Jennifer "JJ" Toombs (Christian); his wife Patti (Gaartz); his children, Dee Peterson (Scott) and Jace Peterson (Amanda); his grandson Ross Peterson (Erin Molstad); his son Lary; his grandchildren, Jessica Pingel (Trey), Christa Kananen (Kurt) and Strathman; his child Joelle Schultz; his grandchild Whitney Schultz; his great grandchildren, Cory Schultz (Megan Katcher) and Ryley Schultz; his daughter Sharyn Rohde (Scott); his granddaughter Amber O'Connell; and his great grandchild Allie Anderson (Luke).
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Bruce Federated Church (730 N 2nd St, Bruce, WI 54819). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
