She was predeceased by : her parents, August Lampe and Thersia Lampe (Diemeke); her daughter Linda Schulz; her grandson Jeremy Strenke; and her siblings, Edward Lampe, Henrietta Gaines, Lorraine Strohl, Eugene Lampe, Clarence Lampe, Paula Beukema, Rita Harr and Rose Ann Chaplin.

She is survived by : her children, Raymond Helling, Jr. (Sheila), Dan Helling (Melanie) of Turtle Lake, Charles Helling (Twila) of Sheboygan, Joann Schmidt (Don) of Rice Lake, Janet Helling of Waycross, GA and Susan Helling of Rice Lake. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren: 3 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
