Donald R. Weyer Obituary

Of Richfield, WI. Born to Eternal Life September 28, 2026 at the age of 82. On August 18, 1944. Donnie was born to Joseph and Florence (née Brahm) Weyer at home on the farm in Menomonee Falls, WI. He attended St. Anthony Catholic Grade School and graduated from Menomonee Falls High School in 1963. On July 12, 1969 he married the love of his life Susie (née Bauer) at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Together they built a beautiful life centered around family and hard work. Donnie began his building career with his cousin and later founded Scenic Home Builders, where he took great pride in his work and in helping young employees develop the skills and confidence to eventually build businesses of their own.

Above all Donnie was devoted to his family. He and Susie shared 57 years of marriage and raised three children. He was a loving father of Donald (Pamela) Weyer, David (Jennifer) Weyer and Amy (Mark) Boehler; and a proud Papa of Morgan (Payton) Beisbier, Dylan Boehler, Kallie Weyer, Donald Weyer, Bryce Weyer, Kaitlyn Boehler, Gracelyn Weyer and Brayden Boehler; and proud Great-Papa of Kinslee Beisbier and baby girl Beisbier due in February. He is further survived by his siblings Joseph (the late Virginia), Jeanette (Michael) Prodoehl, Mary (John) Barnes, Kathleen (Paul) Gielow, Kenneth (Michele), Dennis (Julie) and Ruth Ann (Robert) Butler; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his brother, Richie.

Donnie loved bringing people together. He was known for his quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor, and never afraid to deliver a perfectly timed comment that kept everyone laughing. He was everyone's favorite person in the room. He opened his Crandon Lake Cottage to family and friends, creating a place where people could relax, laugh, and enjoy time together. His favorite lake activity was jet skiing, and spending time with family. Donnie cherished his time with his grandchildren, always taking an interest in their lives, listening to them, talking with them, and encouraging them as they pursued their passions.

His greatest legacy will be the family he loved, the people he encouraged, and the many lives he touched through his work, generosity, and friendship. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, at St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, 1200 St Gabriel Way, Hubertus, WI 53033, from 10:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. Donald will be laid to rest at Saint Hubert Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in Donnie's memory.
