In the sacred silence of farewell, Alan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory C. Pope and Beatrice H. Pope (Jeglum); and his wife Sonja Pope (Dickson Noble). He is survived by: his children, Sean Noble (Mary McDermott) of Chicago and Heather Dunne (James) of Mount Horeb, Wis.; his grandsons, Kieran Dunne of Mount Horeb, Wis. and Logan Dunne of Mount Horeb, Wis.; and his brothers, Duane Pope (Sue) of New Glarus and Bruce Pope (Jeanne). He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
