He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Schoeberl and Veronica Schoeberl; his brother Alden Schoeberl; his sisters-in-law, Robbie Schoeberl and Donna Kay Schoeberl; and his children, Teresa Small and Robert Schoeberl.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Schoeberl; his siblings, Milton Schoeberl (Sharon), Mark Schoeberl (Shirley), Allen Schoeberl (Doris), Roger Schoeberl, Jan Welbig (Denny), Judy Dahl (Dan) and Jane Nordquist (Reginald); his children, Jim Schoeberl (Lollene), David Schoeberl (Jenna), Mari Dysart, Lori Stern, Gail Johansen (Eric) and Stacey Ostlund (Jeff); his stepsons, Rick Hohler (Shirley) and Jim Hohler; and his son-in-law Donovan Small. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great, great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel (120 N Park St, Richland Center, WI 53581). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter's Parish (200 N Allen Ave, Colman, SD 57017).
