He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bauer and Gladys Bauer (Howland); his siblings, Madonna Bauer, Judy Johnson, Kenny Bauer (Brenda Bindl) and Cletus Bauer; and his in-laws, Herbert Pletzer, Judy Amble (John), Joan Ashmore (Avery) and Linda Flickinger.
He is survived by: his siblings, Audrey Pletzer of Richland Center and Tom Bauer of Lone Rock; his siblings-in-law, Donavoine Bauer of Richland Center, Dallas Johnson of Richland Center, Stanley Anderson (Mary) of Richland Center, Jerry King of Milton and Donald Flickinger of Billings, Montana; and his close friend Cheryl Heffner of Muscoda. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (160 W 4th St, Richland Center, WI 53581). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials in Jack's name be directed to Richland County EMS or the Richland Center Police Department K-9 Unit.
