We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2025, at the age of 72, Vernon C. Carter (Richland Center, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Carter and Mildred Carter; his brother Dave Carter; his brother-in-law Kerry Hyre; and his grandson Zane Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Ramsey; his children, Tony Carter (Jennifer), Terry Carter (Becky) and Tanya Brush (Wesley); his grandchildren, Karl Anderson (Kendall), Paige Kunz (Chris), Autum Carter and Skye Brush; his great grandchildren, Violet Kunz, Kennedy Anderson and Wyatt Kunz; his aunt Lillian Veld; and his siblings, Janet Hyre, Ellen Morgan (Larry), Linda Schmidt, Grace Ptak (Paul), Herbie Carter (Kendy) and Dan Carter (Jody). He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Vernon's name may be directed to Pine Valley Community Village or Schmitt Woodland Hills.
