With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald H. Walter of Rio Creek, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 31, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Walter and Frances Walter (Huck); his son James Donald Walter (Jennifer); his brother Wilbert Walter Jr.; his parents-in-law, William and Doris Havel; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Massart and Donna Lohrey.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy Lou Havel; his children, Tammy (Brian), Brenda Nimmer (Paul) and Port of Washington; his grandchildren, Justin Dauck (Beth), Karlee Horlacher (Cody), Reggie Nimmer (Sophia), Bennett, Stella and Wells Walter; his great grandchildren, James, Nora, Gideon, Samuel Dauck, William, Hollie and Henry Horlacher; his siblings, Deanna Naze (Wayne), David Walter and Dennis Walter (Shirley); and his siblings-in-law, Doris Massart and Mark Lohrey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be gathered by the family and donated to organizations that were important to Don.
