Jean Staveness Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Borde and Elizabeth Borde; and her sister Patricia Halpin (Borde). She is survived by: her husband Larry; her children, Lora Staveness and David Staveness (Serena); her granddaughter Kayla Staveness; her siblings, Nancy Bernander (Paul), Dennis Borde (Sharon), Alan Borde (Patti Jo), Jon Borde (Melissa) and Neil Borde (Doreen); and her cousins, Scout and Smokey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Otsego Town Hall (W3199 State Highway 16, Rio).
