He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Joseph A., Jr. and Alice Weisensel (Gould); his wife Peggy Hendrickson; his sons, Japeth (Amanda), Julius (Megan), Jordan (Breanna Moeller) and Judson (Jolene); his daughter-in-law Kerry; his grandchildren, Joseph A. L. (Grace), Johnathan, Alicia, Javen, Andrew, Audra, Jordy, Elsie, Avery, Jayce, Savannah, Kaylee and Mason; his stepmother Trixie Weisensel; his siblings, Pat McKay (Gloyd), Tina (Bruce Weber) and Kevin; and his grandchildren, Clay Weisensel (Teresa), Lisa Jansen (Tim), Candy Heyroth (Bob), Gidget Bavery (Darin), Melanie Dynes (Gary), Lori Corser (Brian) and Colleen Schroeder. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his son Joseph Andrew and father Joseph A., Jr. A memorial visitation with social distancing and mask requirements will be held Friday, March 5 from 2 to 6 PM at Grasse Funeral Home, 401 Angel Way, Rio.
