With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June D. Kukovec of Rio, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Mitchell and Marie Mitchell; her husband George; her son Carter; her son-in-law William G. Straube; her grandson William Jr.; and her sisters, Marie and Genevieve.

She is survived by : her children, Judy Straube, Michael G. (Penny), Donna McKamey (Kirk) and Colleen Tisil (Gregg); her daughter-in-law Denise Kukovec; her grandchildren, Kelly Porretta (Joey), Michael James (Christy), Michael Wm, Michael Robert (Danielle), Joshua (Sara), Jessy Peterson (Joe), Eric, Evan and Emma Tisil; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Zac, Michael G. II, Morgan, Niccolo, Olivia, Hailey, Kennedy and Adler; and her brother Henry Mitchell (Teddie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
