She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Helgesen and Helga Helgesen (Kittleson); and her siblings, Ila Wollum (Don), Rev. Kenneth Helgesen (Esther), Rev. Gilford Helgesen (Virginia), Rev. Russell Helgesen (Lorraine) and Phillip Helgesen (JoAnn).

She is survived by : her husband Donald Paulson; her children, Jeffrey Paulson (Paula) of Ripon, WI, Steven Paulson (Crystal) of Sioux Falls, SD and Barbara McAnnany (Kevin) of Deer Park, WI; her grandchildren, Jake Paulson (Kathryn) of Waukesha, WI, Megan Prellwitz (Ryan) and Ben Paulson (Alexandra) of Ripon, WI; her children, James Frykman of Los Angeles, CA and Marissa Frykman-Somogyi (Greg) of Minneapolis, MN; and her great grandchildren, Nolia, Sadie, Olin Prellwitz, Amaleia, Thane, Torrin and Theodore Paulson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials in her name may be directed to the "Women of Grace" of Grace Lutheran Church, or a charity of your choice.
