He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Vikre and Marjorie Vikre (Brown); his wife Susan Vikre; and his siblings, Joyce Marie Holderbaum and Mark Allen Vikre.
He is survived by: his sister Christine Tomasiewicz of Beach Park, IL; his stepchildren, Heather Newcomb (Brian) of Interlochen, MI and Jim Maguire (Kim) of Menomonie, WI; and his stepgrandchildren, Michael Maguire (Paige) and Mackenzie Maguire. He is also survived by nieces: nephews.
