It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Shepard (Ripon, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Kalmerton and Jennie Kalmerton (Hayes); her husband Franklin Shepard; her son Duane Franklin; her grandson Cory Casper; and her siblings, Eleanor German, Alyce Daggett, Donna "Impy" Rehfeldt and Lowell Kalmerton.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Eric Bice (Hana), Nicole Bice (Andrew Felt), Kelsey Jones (Zac), Brooklyn Shepard (Ben Reilly), Christopher Shepard, Amanda Terry (Nick), Gretchen Johannes (Steve), Katie Block (Tom), Pete Sattler (Sarah), Sarah Nelsen (Austin), Becky Truesdale (Kenneth Remsik), Adam Shepard, Johanna Van Epps (Mitch), Evan Meyer (Jessica) and Jared Meyer; and her brother Elwin "Sandy" Kalmerton. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
