He was predeceased by: his parents, William Altnau and Olga Altnau (Mueller); his grandparents, Emil, Ida Mueller, Herman and Ana Altnau; his stepmother Elizabeth Altnau (Lamb); and his half-sister Lois Altnau.
He is survived by: his wife Iona Altnau (Auch); his children, Kelly Altnau (Krupp), Kerry Altnau (Reiter) and Julie Leisten; his grandchildren, Alyssa Altnau, Camryn Altnau, Ella Altnau, Marena Leisten and Addison Leisten; and his great grandchild Apollo Leisten.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home (515 Mayparty Dr, Ripon, WI 54971). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
