He was predeceased by : his parents, August Kunkel and Helen Kunkel (Dammer); his siblings, Edward Kunkel, Doris Rutke, Shirley Fairchild, Joyce Szymanski and Donald Kunkel; and his pets, Angel and Daisy.

He is survived by : his wife Leora Kunkel; and his children, Kristine Perry (Brian), Steven Kunkel (DeAnna), Dennis Kunkel (Lisa) and Kathleen McCarthy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

I Still have fond memories of helping Steven repair washers, even going to the flea markets with you all from my childhood. I’m thinking of each and everyone of you right now.
