He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Berg and Beryl Berg. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Berg; his son Jason Berg (Connie); his grandchildren, Lucas and Kyle; his son Matt Berg (Jody); his grandsons, Cooper and Owen; his daughter Shannon Donnelly (Eric); his grandchildren, Kane and Kellen; and his siblings, Tom Berg (Joy) and Cindy Berg.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (805 E Division St, River Falls, WI 54022).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ellsworth High School Athletic Department in honor of Dave's enduring commitment to student-athletes, coaching, and youth development.
