With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Madsen formerly of River Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 29, 2023 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald Madsen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Madsen and Eileen Madsen; his wife Joan Madsen; and his brothers-in-law, Duane Hanson and Jim Schullo (Wanda).

He is survived by : his daughters, Julie Melin (Dave) of Grantsburg, WI and Patty Nelson (Doug) of Cushing, WI; his grandchildren, Tara Littlefield (Aaron), Nathan Melin (Kelsey), Hannah Melin, Connor Nelson and Lyndsey Nelson; his great grandchildren, Payton, Axel, Pearl, Prestyn, Pyper, Luella, Rudy and Gus; his siblings, Jeanine Hanson and Bob Madsen (Thekla); his sister-in-law Betty Johnson (Chuck); and his daughter Dawn Friedrich. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
