He was predeceased by: his son Rodney Shilts; his parents, Douglas Shilts and Violet Shilts (Stelter); his in-laws, Jacob and Elsie Schrempf; his siblings, Clayton, Glen, Gordon, Kenny Shilts and Joan Becker; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Marquart, Ryan Becker, Timothy Webb, Beverly Webb (Schrempf) and Monica Schrempf.
He is survived by: his wife Eunice; his daughters, Patricia Oswald (Steve) and Cindy Shilts (Kevin Brehm); his siblings, George (Elnora), Melvin (Donna), Dave, Don (Janice), Linda Craker (Derek), Darlene Dailey (Mike) and Naomi Marquart; his siblings-in-law, Pat Shilts, Barbara Shilts, Eileen Bell and Gerald Schrempf; his grandchildren, Jessica Boni (Dino), Jacob Shilts, Emily Anastasia (Frank) and Thomas Oswald (Hannah Stokhaug); and his great grandchild Nello Boni. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other cherished family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church (365 W River Dr, New Richmond, WI 54017). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
