In the sacred silence of farewell, Jerry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jerry's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jasper Jenson and Edith Jenson; his wife Sherrill; his children, Matt (Beth) and Chris (Robin); his grandchildren, Tim, Leah, Taylor and Laurel; and his sister Delores Johnson. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
He loved donating time as a greeter for church, and serving as an officer for the Military Order of World Wars (MOWW) in Sun City, AZ. He was a strong supporter of community philanthropy, regularly donating to prior churches and organizations around the country where his career had taken him.
