He is survived by: his brother-in-law Jerry Hughes; his wife Shirley Ann Hughes; his daughters, Cheryl (Dave Matthys), Michelle Phillipps, Lynnette (Wayne Borgen) and Janell (Kevin Kuehn); his grandchildren, Jennifer Case, Olivia, Jason Wagner, Lisa Case, Amanda Jump, Christopher, Hilary Jump, Bradley, Jenna Borgen, Bethany, Daniel Driscoll, Lex, Lilith Kuehn, Andrew and Katie Kuehn; his great grandchildren, Dolan, Ryland, Griffin, Maggie Wagner, Aden, Molly, Davion Thrasher and Jackson Kuehn; and his aunts, Idella Lombard (Dennis Hase Jr.), Donna Garness (Charles), Jodi Hase, Dusty Hase (Kevin Hase) and Sue Bignell.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (110 N 3rd St, River Falls, WI 54022). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (951 E Division St, River Falls, WI 54022).
