She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Berends and Rachel Berends; and her brother Michael Berends. She is survived by: her sister Jean Meyer (Steve); her sibling's children, Katie Cole (Scott), Eric Meyer (Anna), Scott Meyer (Sarah) and Tyler Berends; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kenley, Gracie, Fletcher, Oliver and Isla; and her close friend Peggy Wegscheid.
