We are sad to announce that, on December 21, 2021, at the age of 75, Peggy Thompson of River Falls, Wisconsin, born in Frederic, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Matz and Irene Matz (Wayne Thompson); her grandson Joshua Thompson; her brother Gary; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Matz and John Hagert.

She is survived by: her former husband Albert Woods; her husband Wayne Thompson; her children, Bryan Thompson (Michele), Craig Thompson (Julie), Tracy Larson (Chad), Karri Van Dell (Keith) and Samantha Cain (Michael); her grandchildren, Jeremy Thompson, Zachary Toland (Sarah), Kyle Thompson (Michaela), Kevin Thompson (Brittany), Bailey Toland Dressler (David), Heidi Wilhelmy (Mason), Katie Thompson, Miranda Van Dell, Emma Van Dell, Gabrielle Van Dell and Lexi Larson; her great grandchildren, Darla Thompson, Clara Thompson, Linden Thompson, Murphy Wilhelmy, Jack Toland and Zoey Para; her siblings, Carol Nelson (Ken), Judy Hagert, Richard Matz, Faye Tietz (Bob) and Michael Matz (Mary); and her sister-in-law Sonja Rutcosky. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
