He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephen John and Leona Preisler; his wife Diane; his brothers, Roger Preisler and Carl Preisler; and his parents-in-law, Marion Bredl and Eugene Bredl.

He is survived by : his children, Mara (Doug Mashek), Elizabeth (Eric Runquist), Exchange, Stefano Bernabino of Turin and Daniel Thull of Koblenz, Germany.; his grandchildren, Jenna, Sean, Owen and Crosby; his sister Mary Ann Nelson (Skip); and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Preisler, Mary Preisler, Kathy Roesch (Tim), Tricia McCarthy (Terry) and Ronald Bredl (Alice).

In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to consider donations to the American Legion Post 121 at 701 N. Main St in River Falls, WI 54022 or Post 294 at 231 Goodwin Ave in Hartland, WI 53029.
