With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Nyhus of Roberts, Wisconsin, born in Oakes, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2026 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Frojen and Doris Frojen; and her brother Rick Frojen. She is survived by: her husband Paul Nyhus; her daughters, Greta, Sara and Erin Nyhus; and her siblings, Steve, Mike Frojen, Maureen Schmidt and Loraine Frojen. She is also survived by her family, friends.
