He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Filer and Evelyn Filer; and his sister Shirley Sargent (John). He is survived by: his wife Marie Filer; and his children, Kia Hauter (John), Kari Clark (Jeff) and James Filer (Nadine Love-Filer).
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (417 S Kane St, Burlington, WI 53105). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
