He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Hesterberg and Margaret Hesterberg (Jones); his wife Sharon L. Erkkila; and his stepmother Judy Hesterberg (Wuebben). He is survived by: his son Brian; his brother John Hesterberg (Debby); his sister-in-law Diane Thornton (Pat); his nephew Christopher Hesterberg (Aurora Vanca); his niece Katie Moore (Andrew); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jayden, Camden and Ethan; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Leslie and Madeline; his niece Kimberly Moorehead (Keshon); his great-nieces and great-nephews, McKenna and Malachi; and also Kyle Thornton (Leana).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (124 S Main St, Rosendale, WI 54974). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Rosendale Cemetery (202 S Main St, Rosendale, WI 54974).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Bill's name is being established.
