He is survived by : his former life partner Pat Wanta; his children, Wayne Gauger, Jr. and Tonya Searles (James); his adoptive sons, Timothy Zilch and Marty Kositzke; his grandsons, Benjamin Welch and Zachary Searles; his sisters, Peggy Pepin and Hilda "Tina" Tesch; and his cousin Don Krueger (Mary).
