She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Wittenburg and Esther Wittenburg; her husband Glenn Schulz; her sister Sandie Schauer (George); her nephew David Schulz; and her great grandchild Carlene Schulz.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Mergenthaler (Terry), Perry Schulz (Candace) and Fay Neu (Jeff); her grandchildren, Brandy Fliss (Jeff), Glenn (Kristin), Timothy, Angela, Jennifer, Michelle Moody (Andy) and Michael Neu; her great grandchildren, Forrest, Bailey (Sarah), Dayanna, Austin, Dustin, Dayandan, Dayanarra, Pyper, Gage, Dexter, Malkia, Brantley, Evy and Calvin; her great great grandchildren, Jackson and Emberly; and her sisters, Joann Montague and Jasmine Fine. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in LaVern's name can be made out to St. Matthew's Church to help fund new playground equipment, and would be greatly appreciated.
