She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Schumacher and Bernadette Schumacher; her husband Peter Schmitt; her siblings, Gerald Schumacher (Jeannette), Pat Baus (Bob), Ralph Schumacher (Cecelia) and Mary Lou Gauthier (Norm); her children-in-law, Ally Rusch, Steve Klink and Lisa Schmitt; and her grandchildren, Anna Rusch, Kurt Klink and Cade Werner.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Rusch, Lucille Becker (Jim), Roger Schmitt (Carrie Gunst), Paul Schmitt (Hollie), Mark Schmitt (Karen), Denise Klink (Mike Kirchner), Joyce Schmitt (Dan Gassen) and Gloria Werner (Tom); her grandchildren, Mandy Woodland (Bret), Melanie Friday (Christopher), Michelle Beeler (Chadwick), Dawn Gault (Ken), Stephanie Gould (Brian), Jenna Hafemeister (Matt), Jeremy Schmitt (Sheila), Justin Schmitt (Ashley), Colten Schmitt (Tracey), Katelynn Harrigan (Tom), Austin Schmitt (Morgan), Kristin Schmidt (Kent), Sheridan Fischer (Paul), Jordyn Schmitt (Caden Robley), Kayla Smith (Nate), Brianna Quinn (Mike), Zachary Schmitt (Beth Jung), Nicole Handel (Brad), Jill Kreilkamp (Chandler), Joshua Bartelt, Ashley Bartelt, Taylor Bartelt, Cody Werner (Meagan Weiss), Adam Rusch, Aaron Rusch (Kelly) and Jessica Loomans (Nicholas); and her siblings-in-law, Josephine Baus and Dave Dukelow. She is also survived by 38 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
