He is survived by: his wife Marilynn Owen; his sons, Brandon Mooney (Kayla Erickson) of New Richmond, WI and Justin Mooney (Lacey) of Eveleth, MN; his stepson Kris Owen (Ashley) of Winona, MN; his grandsons, Lewis and Theo Mooney; his stepgrandson Daniel Livingston of St. Croix Falls, WI; his granddaughter Nina Mooney of Eveleth, MN; his siblings, Bonnie Myers of Balsam Lake, WI, Larry Mooney (Teresa) of Eau Claire, WI, Sonny Mooney of Amery, WI and Andy Nordby (Sandy) of Askov, MN; his close friends, Paul and Patti Kaldenberg of Beverly Hills, FL; and his pets, Chico, Charlie and Dipstick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Luck Lions Club (300 W 3rd Ave, Luck, WI 54853).
