He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian and Martha; his sisters, Ione Muehlhauser and Fern Darmody; his brothers-in-law, John Patrick Darmody and Bruce Muehlhauser; and his niece Salina Muehlhauser.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Berglund; his children, Rhoda (Abdi) and Mark; and his siblings, Maurice, Shirley and Rose. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
